Port Isaac – Cornwall

The client wanted to keep the front quite traditional, to blend in with the street scene. The rear is modern and creates stunning views from all floors. Pictures show the white, 1:50 model (front and rear) and a zoomed in view from the rear of the house.

A three-storey house has been designed on a sloping plot in the idyllic village Port Isaac, Cornwall. Set in a conservations area with views to the Atlantic Ocean, Port Isaac harbour and Doc Martin’s film location on Roscarrock Hill. This house is designed with a full basement, half in the ground (front) and half exposed (rear). The main bedrooms are in the basement. A bedroom, shower room, study and living room/kitchen/dining room on the ground floor and on the 2nd floor (roof space) is a large open plan living area with external (but covered) roof terrace with view to the Atlantic Ocean, Port Isaac harbour and Doc Martin’s film location on Roscarrock Hill.
